Brewed using only finest malted barley, hops and pure spring water, this golden lager is of moderate strength and has a pleasant, slightly fruity flavour balanced by delicate late hop characters and a crisp clean bitterness in its finish.
Micro filtered, not pasteurised, which means its natural freshness is retained longer than other beers. 4% ABV
Young Henrys wouldn’t be what it is without Newtown. It’s our home, community and inspiration. So when the suburb celebrated its sesquicentenary and we were invited to brew a unique beer to celebrate, we jumped at the chance. The resulting beer was an Aussie Pale Ale called Newtowner. In a bit of a nod to the suburb’s past and present influences, we used a blend of English and Australian malts. Then we added three varieties of local hops to make it fun, fruity and even a little bitter - just like Newtown. This is a beer we wanted everyone in our community to enjoy, whether it was being thrown back at a gig or sipped slowly in a beer garden. The people responded and Newtowner is now a permanent part of our beer range.
Spicy yet mild, dry but wet, smooth yet sharp, tight but loose - just a great tasting ginger beer!
Windjammer has a deep golden hue and is boldly bittered via early and late kettle hop injections backed up by adding even more hops during fermentation. This dry hopped ale is a standout in both it’s up front bitterness, its spicy citrus aroma and its long finish on the palette. A powerful beer originally brewed to survive the long trip from the UK to India, it is best paired with subtle foods because it will always take centre stage. A Hop driven delight that will take your breath away!.
Our certified organic Steam Ale is a brilliant introduction to the world of craft or for those seeking a sessionable beer that is crisp, fresh and full of character.
Steam beers were originally lagers brewed at the warmer ale temperatures, aiming to deliver the best of both worlds. We decided to do our own spin by fermenting an ale yeast cooler to arrive at the same place, but via a different route. The result is a crisp, seasonable beer, fresh and full of fruity and tropical characters.
Defined by a balance of pale malted barley and tropical hop aromas, our Pale Ale is light in colour but big in flavour. But don’t overthink it. It is what it says on the tin, a Pale Ale, the Black Hops beer for every occasion.
Fill your tank and lubricate your mouth with Young Henrys' rich, black Motorcycle Oil. Young Henrys Motorcycle Oil is a smooth, hoppy, black beer with mild bitterness, roughly based on a hopped-up American porter. Originally brewed as a small batch in 2017 it’s back in black by popular demand, bigger and bolder as this year’s YH Winter release. Best served loud.

Coopers Session Ale displays citrus aromas, subtle fruity overtones, mild bitterness and the estery flavours of Coopers Ale yeast and is brewed using the same secondary fermentation process as all Coopers Ales.

Carlton Dry is a super refreshing, full strength lager specifically brewed for easy drinking. Our beer has a great taste and a smooth, dry finish without the bitterness of traditional beers. Victoria Bitter is fermented between 18-18.5°C, which is very warm for lager. Put simply, the higher the temperature, the quicker the fermentation as the yeast multiply and devour the sugars, turning them into alcohol. Why do this? A warm, fast ferment results in a beer with more flavour. If you want bland, flavourless beer, you better look elsewhere
Best matched with big blue skies, sun-drenched days, good chats and great mates, XXXX GOLD Australian Lager is big on taste. The lager has a balanced, smooth flavour and body, complimented by mild bitterness and just a trace of sweetness from the extra malt. As soon as it hits your lips, there’s no mistaking the refreshing taste of GOLD. It’s no wonder why it’s Australia’s number one beer.
